This is it. This is the new version of software that musicians have been waiting for. The first thing to talk about with Traktor Pro 2 is the GUI, which has been given a fresh new look by designer Christian Jansky for this release. The old interface was stuck in time, but this new design features smoother edges and cleaner button placement on each pane. It's more intuitive too, with some elements now floating instead of being fixed to the screen making your work station less cluttered and more organised - everything you need at hand. The virtual deck has been improved to give you more creative freedom, allowing you to control the size groups of effects, sample cue points and the BPM of individual tracks. A new "Split" mode has been added to make it easier to navigate between music files while playing back. Now, while Traktor plays one track, it will play another in the background without disrupting your movements within the decks.Traktor Pro 2 also includes a new "Loop Browser" which keeps track of all 14 million loops in Traktor's massive library. You can search for specific types of loops or select from its extensive list available at launch. Traktor comes with a new "Auto Library" feature that creates a library of your favourite loops and cues for easy access any time you want. You can also rename or delete any music file from its library.The DJ mix-downs feature has been improved to allow you to quickly mix two tracks together with the ability to adjust the BPM and pitch of each individual track.
